Long-Running Facebook Ads: 29 Examples That Ran for Years
Checked 25 Oct 2026 · 29 ads from 21 brands, from Meta's Ad Library · How we pick ads
Long runs go to ads that are easy to leave alone: the product sells all year, the claim never needs a date, and nobody has to retune the picture. Every ad here had run 829 days or more by our check, and the quietest ran longest: a bakery whose headline is its own name, and serums with the strength in the headline.
- 829+days, the shortest run on the page
- 1,075days, the median run on the page
- 2,295days, the longest run on the page

A spec or number as the hook · 6
A claim that never goes out of date is the cheapest way to stay on for years. Geek&Gorgeous puts the strength in each serum headline, and CUUP puts "53 Sizes" in its.
Photo first, a label for a headline · 9
When the picture carries the appetite, the headline can be a name, as at Five Daughters Bakery, a product label, as at KORE Essentials, or missing, as on the AYBL tees and outfit. Nothing in it needs to change.
A person wearing it, full frame · 4
Fit and feel can't be proven by a garment on a floor, so Raskol Apparel and David Archy Clothing fill the frame with a body and leave the proof to the copy.
Shot on a phone, not in a studio · 4
A snapshot or a face to camera reads as a post from a person. Barn Owl Box Company shows an owl in its own box, and Carcovers.com shows covered cars in a real garage.
Offer and deadline wording · 3
Discounts and time limits appear here but not on the longest runners: the No Live Bait Needed bubble says a limited time applies and the Kinsley Armelle banner says "LIMITED TIME ONLY", and each ran 867 days or more.
A story that makes it a gift · 3
A gift needs a reason to give it. Space & Meteorite Co supplies the moon, The Hero Company a service dog for a veteran, and Star Name Registry a named star.

Set up an ad you never have to touch
- Pick a product people rebuySerums and pastries hold the longest runs here, and both are bought again.
- Put one spec in the headlineGeek&Gorgeous states the strength in each serum headline and CUUP states its size range, so the claim stays true however long the ad runs.
- Write a body that can stayFive Daughters Bakery's paragraph on fresh, from-scratch pastries sits under several photos, so a new picture needs no new copy.
- Leave the deadline offThe longest runners on this page carry no discount or time limit, so there is no date for the ad to outlive.
- Shoot it plainGeek&Gorgeous lays one dropper bottle on a solid pastel field, Five Daughters Bakery shoots trays in natural light, and Barn Owl Box Company shows an owl in its own box. Each of those ads had run 1,197 days or more.
- Read results before you leave itGive a new ad a couple of weeks to gather results, since only an ad that earns its budget gets the chance to run for years.

What a long run proves
It proves payment, not profit. Every ad here had run 829 days or more when we checked, a spend signal that the brand kept paying. It says nothing about sales, margin or budget.
Nearly half the ads are dynamic creative. In a dynamic creative ad, Meta mixes the pictures and lines a brand uploads, so the card shows one combination and the ad may have changed over its run.
Policy still applies. Meta's Advertising Standards cover every ad however long it has run, so a long run is no clearance.

One body, several pictures
Same words, new photo. Five Daughters Bakery runs one paragraph about fresh, from-scratch pastries under photos of trays, a boxed assortment and children by a painted sign, and each had run 2,291 days.
One line on a stack and an outfit. AYBL's body, "New Arrivals: AYBL Mens latest drop is now live", sits under a fanned stack of tees and under a single laid-out outfit, 965 days each.
A template that swaps the product. Geek&Gorgeous opens its bodies with "What makes C-Glow special?" and "What makes A-Game special?", one frame for different serums.
Leaving a Facebook ad on for years: the questions
How long should you let Facebook ads run?
Long enough to get a fair read, usually a couple of weeks, and after that for as long as the ad keeps earning its place in the budget. The ads on this page ran 829 to 2,295 days by our check, which shows brands will keep a quiet ad that works, not that you should wait that long to judge one.
Does a long-running Facebook ad mean it is profitable?
No. A long run shows the brand kept paying for the ad, and we can't see its sales, margin or budget. Treat it as a pointer to what a brand was willing to leave on, then test the idea against your own numbers.
What do long-running Facebook ads have in common?
Most are plain: a product photo or a person wearing it, with a headline that is a name, a spec or nothing at all. The longest runners, Geek&Gorgeous and Five Daughters Bakery, carry no discount and no deadline, and the proof sits in the body copy.
Do long-running Facebook ads need a discount or a deadline?
No. Only a handful of the ads here lead with a discount or a time limit, and the longest runners carry neither. Where deadline wording does appear, as in the No Live Bait Needed bubble, the ad had run 1,108 days when we checked.
How do you find long-running Facebook ads in the Meta Ad Library?
Search a brand or keyword in the Meta Ad Library, then read the start date on each active ad: the earliest dates are the longest runs. Day counts on this page are frozen at the date we checked, so a brand's ad may have changed since.
Make long-running Facebook ads like these
Test the quiet pattern on your client's website or your own: Gimme Gimme turns a site into on-brand static ads, so you can find out which ones earn a long run.
How we pick ads. We search Meta's public Ad Library for ads from DTC brands that sell to US and UK shoppers, keep ads running 14 days or more, skip catalogue ads, and show at most 3 per brand. Days running is a spend signal: brands rarely keep paying for an ad that doesn't sell. Day counts are as of the check date above. Breakdowns are written by Gimme Gimme's ad analysis engine from each ad's image and copy, and edited by Josh Jackson, founder. Not affiliated with the brands shown; ads appear for commentary and analysis. To have an ad removed, email hello@getgimmegimme.com and we'll take it down within 7 days.
