Camping Ad Examples: 24 Meta Ads Brands Kept Running
Checked 25 Oct 2026 · 24 ads from 14 brands, from Meta's Ad Library · How we pick ads
Camping gear is bought on weight, warmth and packed size, none of which a photo can prove, and the pieces people sleep in are the hardest to show. The ads that kept running put the proof on a person, in a camp already set up or in print on the picture. Enlightened Equipment's quilt ads, at 496+ and 493+ days, sell lightness without printing a single weight.
- 496+days, the longest run
- 134days, the median run
- 17ads ran past 90 days
Where camping ads put the proof

Specs and reviews on the image · 6
Sea to Summit labels its sleeping bag with "850+ Fillpower" and a liner callout, and Kilos Gear sets its pad against "OTHER OUTDOOR SLEEPING PAD" in ticks and crosses. Both print the answer to "is it warm and light?" inside the image.
A person wearing the result · 6
Enlightened Equipment's longest runs wrap a smiling woman in an orange quilt and put a hiker under the word "FARTHER"; BioLite puts a face under the glow of its headlamp. The person carries the feeling a spec would otherwise have to.
The camp already set up · 6
Snow Peak shows two people building its camp kitchen between the trees and a tarp over a whole desert camp, so the buyer sees the system, not one item. Kammok's awning body promises "Skip the setup struggle."
One product, one claim · 6
Dometic opens its CFX5 cooler from above under "VIP of Coolers", and Zenbivy shows its quilt peeled back on black under "The Ultralight Bed". One object and one line stay readable at scroll speed.

Turning a pack-list item into an ad
- Pick the one doubtName the thing a photo can't settle for your product, whether weight, warmth or setup, and build the ad on answering it.
- Put someone inside the resultWrap, seat or light up a person with the product, as Enlightened Equipment and BioLite do, so the feeling carries the claim.
- Print one proof pointAdd a spec callout, a customer quote or a side-by-side to the image, as Sea to Summit and Kilos Gear do, and only claim what you can back.
- Show it set up at campPhotograph the tarp, awning or kitchen in use, since Snow Peak and Kammok show gear as part of a campsite, not an object.
- Run pictures under one lineLuno Life ran one headline over a diagram, a tailgate photo and a pair of sleepers; test your own pictures under a single line to see which holds.

Making weight visible
Say it in words. Enlightened Equipment's longest runs use "LESS WEIGHT" and "FARTHER" and print no figure, letting the person in the frame show it.
Put a figure on it. Sea to Summit prints "850+ Fillpower" on the bag, and Big Agnes gives its weight as "1lb 10oz" in the body copy.
Hold it in a hand. Zenbivy's packed sack and Sea to Summit's stuff sack both appear in a hand, which shows packed size faster than a dimension in text.
Name it in the headline. Zenbivy calls its quilt system "The Ultralight Bed" and Sea to Summit calls its bag "Worth Every Gram", so the weight claim is the product's name or its verdict.
Reviews and comparisons as proof
Reviews are endorsements. Sea to Summit's wall of star-rated cards, Hyperlite Mountain Gear's quote card and Solo Stove's review count all work as endorsements, which the FTC expects to reflect real customers' honest experience.
Keep the attribution. The Sea to Summit cards carry a name and "Verified Buyer", and Hyperlite's quote carries "LIBBY L.", so each reads as a person, not a slogan.
Comparisons need backing. Kilos Gear sets its pad against "OTHER OUTDOOR SLEEPING PAD", so each cross on the other side is a claim about a competing product that needs evidence behind it.
Meta's standards still apply. Meta's ad standards cover the claims in a camping ad's image and text like any other; none of them is camping-specific.

Camping ad questions, from quilts to campsites
What are some good slogans for camping?
The short ones that promise a result, not a spec. Enlightened Equipment ran "LESS WEIGHT MORE ADVENTURE", Sea to Summit "Worth Every Gram", Luno Life "Wake Up Pain-Free" and Kammok "Comfort That Travels".
Should a camping ad show a person or just the gear?
A person usually earns the space, because warmth and comfort read on a face. Nearly half of these ads have a person in the shot, and Enlightened Equipment's 496+ and 493+ day runs both do, though Dometic's product-only cooler ran 286+ days.
How do you prove a sleeping bag's warmth in a Meta ad?
Print the proof, because a photo can't show warmth. Sea to Summit stacks review cards like "TOASTY IN THE COLD." behind its bag, and Kilos Gear writes "4-season revitalized comfort" on its comparison.
Do camping ads need a discount to work?
Not in this set. The one clearance ad, Six Moon Designs' warehouse sale, had run 55 days, while Enlightened Equipment's quilt ads with no sale in them ran 496+ and 493+ days.
Make camping ads like these
Paste your client's website or your own, and Gimme Gimme researches rival gear ads, then designs ones that put the weight, the warmth or the camp setup on the picture.
How we pick ads. We search Meta's public Ad Library for ads from DTC brands that sell to US and UK shoppers, keep ads running 14 days or more, skip catalogue ads, and show at most 3 per brand. Days running is a spend signal: brands rarely keep paying for an ad that doesn't sell. Day counts are as of the check date above. Breakdowns are written by Gimme Gimme's ad analysis engine from each ad's image and copy, and edited by Josh Jackson, founder. Not affiliated with the brands shown; ads appear for commentary and analysis. To have an ad removed, email hello@getgimmegimme.com and we'll take it down within 7 days.
