Swimwear Ad Examples: 14 Meta Ads Brands Kept Running

Checked 25 Oct 2026 · 14 ads from 10 brands, from Meta's Ad Library · How we pick ads

Fit decides a swimsuit sale, and a feed has no fitting room. In these 14 Meta ads the longest run, 389+ days, is a sketch and a price with no person in it, and the next longest are creator photos with a handle in the corner.

  • 389+days, the longest run: a price card with no body
  • 73days, the median run

Dippin' Daisy's Swimwear sells a $50 price with a sketch, L*Space by Monica Wise sells a bridal moment and JOLYN sells training, so the shopper has a why before judging a cut.

Dippin' Daisy's SwimwearRan 389+ days
Discount and offer ads

“Bikini sets now just $50”

Why it works

A red bikini top and bottom are drawn on a clothesline against flat pale blue, with a stack of text above and plenty of empty space. There is no body in the frame, so fit and skin drop out of the decision and one question is left: is $50 a set a good price. "FULL BIKINI SETS" tells the shopper top and bottom come together, and the sketch keeps a sale card from feeling like a flyer.

L*Space by Monica Wise Meta ad: cream bikini, pearl necklace and shell bag on stone steps with FOR YOUR BRIDAL ERA, ran 73+ days
L*Space by Monica WiseRan 73+ days
Flat lay ads

“FOR YOUR BRIDAL ERA”

Why it works

Cream bikini pieces, a pearl necklace and a straw bag covered in shells are laid down a stone staircase, with one line of text across the middle. No person appears, so the picture sells an occasion and a palette, and the pearls on the bottoms' ties echo the necklace beside them. Pairing "Our Most Loved Bikini" with a bridal line gives a proof word and a reason in one glance. Everything on the steps stays in one warm color family.

JOLYN Meta ad: swimmer in a white cap seen from behind in a brown racerback suit at a pool, MADE TO TRAIN, ran 19+ days
JOLYNRan 19+ days
Lifestyle ads

“Trusted by the pros”

Why it works

A swimmer in a white cap stands with her back to the lens at a pool lane, hands at her waist, in a brown racerback with thin white straps. The strap path and the back coverage are in plain view, which is what a training-suit buyer checks. "MADE TO TRAIN" sits over it, and the long body copy adds "No budge fit", "Under $100" and a five-star quote from a customer. The rear view carries most of the argument.

A named wearer, tagged · 3

Kulani Kinis puts a creator's handle in the corner of a poolside portrait and Bondi Born prints the model's name on the photo, so the question of how it looks on a real person goes to someone the shopper can look up.

Kulani KinisRan 192+ days
Lifestyle ads

“Kini of the Summer”

Why it works

A model sits at a turquoise pool in a ring-front bandeau and matching wrap skirt, a yellow hibiscus tucked behind her ear, with only a creator handle in the top corner. The body copy names the print, "Ocean Paradise", and the headline makes her the season's face. For a suit nobody can try on, a tagged person in a believable poolside setting does the proving, and the wrap shows the set worn as an outfit.

Kulani KinisRan 186+ days
Social proof ads

“copying @gracetaylorr19's entire vacation look”

Why it works

A selfie-style close-up of a smiling woman in a straw cowboy hat, long braids and a green triangle top, set against a bright blue sky, with her handle in the corner. The copy talks like a friend texting, so the sale moves from the suit to the whole holiday outfit. That suits a category bought for a trip. Sun-lit and cropped close, it looks like a story screenshot, not a lookbook page.

BONDI BORNRan 18+ days
Social proof ads

“Alexandra Talifero wears Blair In Pearl”

Why it works

A woman lies on a wooden dock above green water in a cream plunge one-piece, one hand shading her face, while a flat cutout of the same suit floats on the water at right beside her name and the colorway. The cutout shows the halter shape and neckline with no body in it, next to the person wearing it. That pairing answers how it falls and what exactly it is at the same time. Her handle appears in the body copy too.

Moodboards and multi-angle panels · 3

Triangl builds its frames as grids of travel and texture photos, which sells the trip, while Bondi Born's Fernanda panel shows one swimsuit from several sides, which settles coverage.

Triangl Swimwear Meta ad: cobalt tie-side bikini over a grid of sea, cream swirl, window niche and coast, ran 73+ days
Triangl SwimwearRan 73+ days
Collage ads

“Made for your next vacation”

Why it works

A cobalt tie-side bikini is laid flat across the middle of a grid: a sea view with a pool ladder, a swirl of pale cream, a window niche with a painted vase, and a rocky coast with striped loungers. The quilted texture shows in the flat suit, which a model shot would hide, and the grid supplies the destination. Borrow the flat-product-over-scenery layout when color accuracy is the doubt.

Triangl Swimwear Meta ad: grid with a blue-and-white bikini on a rooftop, a snorkel mask, plates and a shell, ran 73+ days
Triangl SwimwearRan 73+ days
Collage ads

“Postcards from Greece”

Why it works

A grid mixes a woman in a blue-and-white patterned bikini on a whitewashed rooftop, a woman lifting a snorkel mask in clear water, painted plates on a wall and the swirl of a pearly shell, with TRIANGL across the center. The body copy tags a handle and the #TrianglGirls hashtag, so the grid reads like a holiday album. Print and place tie together because the blue-and-white pattern repeats in the plates, giving a small suit a setting.

BONDI BORN Meta ad: three panels of a black crossed-strap one-piece from the back and front, Fernanda One Piece Black, ran 18+ days
BONDI BORNRan 18+ days
Collage ads

“Our Most Coveted Swim Style”

Why it works

Panels show the same black one-piece in dusk light by the sea: a back view with arms raised and crossed straps on the left, a front view with hands on hips at top right, and another back crop below. Seeing the strap cross from more than one angle settles the support and coverage question before anyone clicks. Name and color are printed on the picture itself, so the frame works as its own label.

Editorial frame, little text · 5

Marysia, Left On Friday and Monday Swimwear let one high-production photo carry the cut, and the only text is a wordmark, a season tag or nothing at all.

MarysiaRan 150+ days
Advertorial examples

“Swim You'll Love to Wear”

Why it works

Horizontal strips stack like film frames: a blurred top crop, a sharp middle frame of a woman reclining in a burgundy one-piece and dark sunglasses, and a blurred crop of high-waisted bottoms below. The scalloped edge shows on the neckline and the leg in every strip, so the signature detail repeats down the frame. Only the MARYSIA lockup and a season tag sit on the image, which leaves the fit promise to the headline and body copy.

BAMBA SWIM Meta ad: behind-the-scenes photoshoot with models in plaid swimwear and a crew member, SHOP SOCIAL, ran 83+ days
BAMBA SWIMRan 83+ days
Advertorial examples

“SHOP BAMBA'S BEST SELLERS.”

Why it works

The picture is a photoshoot caught between takes: a woman in a plaid bikini, a shirtless man in matching plaid trunks, a seated crew member in an AMBA Studio shirt and a bank of vintage lights behind them. "SHOP SOCIAL" and the brand handle sit across the middle, so the promise is a brand with a scene around it. Showing the set rather than a pose lets women's and men's pieces share one frame.

Left On Friday Meta ad: woman in a mint bikini holding a pool ladder by the ocean with the LEFT ON FRIDAY wordmark, ran 28+ days
Left On FridayRan 28+ days
Advertorial examples

“Swim shorties that fit like a hug.”

Why it works

A woman in a mint bikini and high-waisted bottoms stands holding a pool ladder, with a calm ocean and a thatched hut behind her and the LEFT ON FRIDAY wordmark across her middle. The full-length pose shows the rise of the bottoms and the ring on the top, and the body copy handles comfort in words. The ladder gives her something to hold, which keeps the stance natural. Nothing else on the image competes with the cut.

Monday Swimwear Meta ad: woman with raised arms in a red floral triangle bikini, MONDAY wordmark and Resort '27 tag, ran 27+ days
Monday SwimwearRan 27+ days
Product launch ads

“The Monte Solaro Floral Collection.”

Why it works

A woman with wet hair and raised arms wears a red floral triangle bikini with tie sides, and a large MONDAY wordmark with a script season tag sits low on the right. The droplets on her skin make it a just-out-of-the-water frame, and the print fills most of the picture. Naming the print in the body copy lets a viewer file it as a new drop rather than a basic. Tight framing leaves the print and the cut to speak for themselves.

“New Arrivals: Women's Swimwear”

Why it works

The other Monday Swimwear picture for the same collection is a high-angle shot of a woman reclining on a poolside ledge in the red floral bikini, a ring at the hip and a loose white shirt open over it, with no text on the image. Where the first frame shows the print up close, this one shows how the suit might be styled and where it would be worn. Pairing a close frame with a wide one gives a shopper both the print and the mood.

Carrying the fit inside a swim ad

  1. Name the shopper's doubt firstDecide whether the worry is fit, color or price, then pick the frame that answers it, the way JOLYN uses a back view and Dippin' Daisy's uses a price.
  2. Show the back of the suitStraps, support and coverage are what a front pose hides, and both JOLYN and Bondi Born's Fernanda panels turn the model around.
  3. Put a name on the wearerKulani Kinis and Bondi Born credit the person in the photo by handle or name, which gives the shopper someone to check.
  4. Add a flat shot of the suitBondi Born's Blair floats a cutout beside the model and Triangl lays the suit over a grid, so color and cut are visible without a body.
  5. Tie the suit to a tripGive the picture an occasion or a place, as Triangl does with "Made for your next vacation" and L*Space by Monica Wise does with a bridal line.
  6. Keep the text to a wordmarkMarysia, Left On Friday and Monday Swimwear let the photo carry the cut and keep the type to a name and a season.

Sizes and Safe Zones are on our Instagram Safe Zone checker page.

Proving fit on screen

Turn her around. JOLYN's back view of a racerback and the crossed straps in Bondi Born's Fernanda panels show support and coverage, the parts a front pose leaves out.

Say fit in a few words. The promise is short: Marysia's "Swim You'll Love to Wear", Left On Friday's "fit like a hug" and JOLYN's "No budge fit".

No size line anywhere. None of these ads shows a size range, a returns line or a fit guarantee, so a brand with one has room to say it.

The framing rule. Meta's Advertising Standards restrict adult nudity and sexually suggestive content, including images that focus unnecessarily on body parts. Read the current standard before you choose a crop for a swimsuit.

Tagging the wearer

Handle, name or hashtag. Kulani Kinis prints a handle in the corner of the picture, Bondi Born prints the model's name and the colorway and adds a handle in the body, and Triangl tags a handle with #TrianglGirls in the body.

The disclosure rule. The FTC's Endorsement Guides treat a creator's post about a product as an endorsement and expect a clear disclosure of any material connection, such as payment or free product.

Swimwear ad questions, from cut to color

How do you show fit in a swimwear ad?

Show the suit worn from the angle that matters, usually the back, and promise the fit in a few words. JOLYN's back view and Bondi Born's multi-angle Fernanda panel carry the visual side, and Left On Friday's "fit like a hug" carries the written side.

Should a swimwear ad show a model or just the suit?

Show a person wearing it for most of your ads, and treat a flat shot as a helper. Most of these ads put a wearer in frame, and the ones that don't, Dippin' Daisy's Swimwear and L*Space by Monica Wise, lean on a price and a bridal occasion instead.

Do creator-tagged photos work as swimwear ads?

They are among the longer runs in this set: Kulani Kinis' tagged portraits had run 192 and 186 days when we checked. Bondi Born and Triangl credit wearers too, though their ads had run for a shorter time.

Does a discount beat lifestyle photos for swimwear?

This data can't say, because it shows what kept running and not what sold. The longest run here, 389+ days, is Dippin' Daisy's $50-a-set card, while most other ads sell the look, and the newest ads from Left On Friday, Monday Swimwear, JOLYN and Bondi Born had run under a month.

How to launch a swimwear brand?

Start with one clear reason to buy and one photo that proves the cut on a person, then add creator-tagged content. The set here shows both moves: a price card and a purpose from the first group, and named wearers and editorial frames from the others.

Drop in your client's website or your own and Gimme Gimme studies the longest-running rival swimwear ads, then designs Meta-ready statics that settle the fit question in one frame.

How we pick ads. We search Meta's public Ad Library for ads from DTC brands that sell to US and UK shoppers, keep ads running 14 days or more, skip catalogue ads, and show at most 3 per brand. Days running is a spend signal: brands rarely keep paying for an ad that doesn't sell. Day counts are as of the check date above. Breakdowns are written by Gimme Gimme's ad analysis engine from each ad's image and copy, and edited by Josh Jackson, founder. Not affiliated with the brands shown; ads appear for commentary and analysis. To have an ad removed, email hello@getgimmegimme.com and we'll take it down within 7 days.
