19 Black Friday Ad Examples That Brands Kept Running on Meta
Checked 25 Oct 2026 · 19 ads from 18 brands, from Meta's Ad Library · How we pick ads
Black Friday puts many brands in front of the same shopper with a percentage, so the number alone is easy to scroll past and the product shrinks to a prop. All 19 ads lead with the sale, and what separates them is what sits beside it: a free item, a holiday costume, nothing at all, or the product at work. The median run was 338+ days when we checked.
- 338+days, the median run
- 706+days, the longest run (PLUFFI Slippers)
- 18of the 19 ads had run past 90 days when we checked
- 12days, the shortest run (Seat Cover Solutions)

A free item beside the discount · 4
When percentages crowd every feed, these ads add something a shopper can count. Muravai lays its free kit out piece by piece beside "BUY 1 GET 1 FREE", and Seat Cover Solutions gives each add-on its own tile under a $179 total. Ooomay circles a free bag charm with an arrow.
Holiday costume on the offer · 5
Set dressing announces the event before a word is read. PLUFFI Slippers hangs its discount on a red ornament above candy canes, and Retro-Stage draws a vintage ballroom around "Black Friday Sale". Airmoto tapes a red banner across a dark pedestal shot, and Glowco and Megelin add confetti.
The offer is the picture · 6
The frame is built like price signage: big type, a plain ground and the product as a cutout or a crop. Anaconda Fightwear stacks yellow "BLACK FRIDAY SALE" down a dark frame, and Parijan sets "UP TO 70% OFF" in red above a stack of sweaters. Nuora pairs one large "40% OFF SITEWIDE" line with a pouch and a pineapple.
Product at work, sale in copy · 4
Products that are hard to judge from a cutout are shown in use or through the result, and the deal moves to the headline and body. Luna&Skin shows the LED mask lit on a face, and Move Shoot Move shows a night-sky photo above the tracker that made it. FaithHeart Store puts its rings on a close photo of hands and leaves every sale word to the headline.

Turning one sale into one clear frame
- Pick one thing beside the percentageA free item, a short code or the product at work gives the percentage a second thing to look at; Muravai, Ooomay and Seat Cover Solutions each chose a free item.
- Draw every free itemSeat Cover Solutions gives each add-on its own tile and Ooomay circles the charm with an arrow, so the gift is something a shopper can see.
- Print the condition on the picture"WITH YOUR SEAT COVER ORDER" sits right under the free add-ons, so the offer and its terms are read together.
- Keep the event name in the headlineParijan and FaithHeart Store leave Black Friday out of the picture and carry it in the headline, and had run 311 and 339 days.
- Make the code readable in the framePLUFFI Slippers, Luna&Skin and Glowco each print a short code on the picture in a pill or a line of its own.
- Show hard-to-judge products workingLuna&Skin puts the lit mask on a face and Halara Leggings adds front and back shots on a model, because a cutout would not answer fit.

Naming the sale
Early and VIP. Airmoto, Luna&Skin, Parijan and Seat Cover Solutions put "Early" in front of Black Friday, and PLUFFI Slippers writes "You’re getting EARLY ACCESS to our Black Friday sale!" while Luna&Skin's body opens "BLACK FRIDAY VIP ACCESS".
Better than, and plus. Marco Voletti calls its own "Our Better Than Black Friday Sale", and Nuora prints "BLACK FRIDAY | CYBER MONDAY" on one picture.
Deadline wording ran for months. Revoget ("SALE ENDS TODAY"), Airmoto ("Last Call"), Halara Leggings ("FINAL HOURS"), Megelin ("Prices Drop for 24 Hours Only!") and Glowco ("ENDING SOON") put the clock in words, and these ads had run for months when we checked, Revoget's for 540 days. A deadline line only works when it is true, so state a real end and keep to it; the FTC's pricing guides expect sale claims to be genuine. No picture among the 19 prints a calendar date.
Dates live in the copy. Seat Cover Solutions is the one ad that names an end date, and it puts the date in the body, not on the picture.
Free and savings wording
Free needs its condition. The FTC's Guide Concerning Use of the Word "Free" says the terms of a free or buy-one-get-one-free offer should be stated clearly and conspicuously at the outset, and that the regular price of the item you must buy should not be raised to cover the free one. Seat Cover Solutions prints "WITH YOUR SEAT COVER ORDER" under its free add-ons, and Muravai shows its free kit next to "BUY 1 GET 1 FREE".
Savings need a real starting price. The FTC's Guides Against Deceptive Pricing say a comparison to a former price should use a price the seller actually charged for a reasonable period. None of these pictures shows a crossed-out price: each states a percentage, a code, a dollar total or a free item.
Guarantees sit beside the sale. Retro-Stage prints "PRICE GUARANTEE" on a ribbon in the picture, Megelin's body offers a 60-Day Price Guarantee, and Glowco's body offers a 100-Day Money-Back Guarantee.
Before the sale starts: wording, codes and free items
How to announce a Black Friday sale?
Put the event name and one concrete offer in the same frame and keep both short. Seat Cover Solutions prints "EARLY BLACK FRIDAY DEAL" over a $179 list of free add-ons, and Parijan sets "UP TO 70% OFF" on the picture and "Early Black Friday Starts Now" in the headline.
Should the picture say Black Friday, or only the headline?
Either works in this set. Most pictures print the event name, while a handful leave it to the headline and let the picture carry the offer or the product. Muravai, Parijan and FaithHeart Store did that and had run 605, 311 and 339 days.
What can sit beside the discount to make it stand out?
A free item is the most concrete choice here, with a short code and a product-in-use photo as the other options. Ooomay circles a free bag charm, Glowco prints "CODE: BF30", and Luna&Skin shows its mask lit on a face.
Does a promo code belong on the picture?
Yes, when it is short enough to read in the frame. PLUFFI Slippers prints "CODE: FRIDAY", Luna&Skin "USE CODE: BF10" and Glowco "CODE: BF30", while Revoget and Megelin keep theirs in the body.
Can Black Friday creative start before the week itself?
Yes, and brands in this set mark it with wording such as "Early" or "VIP" access. Airmoto, Luna&Skin, Parijan and Seat Cover Solutions use "Early", and Seat Cover Solutions, the newest ad here at 12 days, states its end date in the body.

How we pick ads. We search Meta's public Ad Library for ads from DTC brands that sell to US and UK shoppers, keep ads from the season however long they ran, skip catalogue ads, and show at most 3 per brand. Days running is a spend signal: brands rarely keep paying for an ad that doesn't sell. Day counts are as of the check date above. Breakdowns are written by Gimme Gimme's ad analysis engine from each ad's image and copy, and edited by Josh Jackson, founder. Not affiliated with the brands shown; ads appear for commentary and analysis. To have an ad removed, email hello@getgimmegimme.com and we'll take it down within 7 days.
