22 Camera & Dash Cam Ad Examples Brands Kept Running on Meta

Checked 25 Oct 2026 · 22 ads from 9 brands, from Meta's Ad Library · How we pick ads

Picture and footage quality is what a camera sells, and a photo of the camera cannot show either, so these ads carry the proof some other way: a printed spec, a price, the window or dashboard the camera mounts on, or a photo it made. The two longest runs, 467 and 375 days, are both one Vantrue dash cam; the next longest is 136.

  • 467+days, the longest run (a Vantrue dash cam launch)
  • 136+days, the next longest, after two Vantrue ads
  • 68days, the median run
  • 10ads ran past 90 days

Wyze prints $34.98 or $49.98 beside the camera, and Vantrue's football-season picture sets "Save $160" in its biggest type. Flashback leads with free gifts instead of a discount.

“Save $160”

Why it works

A stadium behind a black dash cam turns a gadget sale into a match-day event. "Save $160" sits in the largest type on the picture, with the bundle name, "N4 PRO S 4K 3-Channel Full Coverage Bundle", underneath. An inset card lists what else comes in the box: a cable, a memory card, a lens filter and a small accessory. Saving and contents arrive together, which matters for a product sold in parts.

WyzeRan 131+ days
Product launch ads

“Smart bulb meets security camera.”

Why it works

The product is the pitch: a light bulb with a camera head glows against a dark ground, so the picture explains the idea before a word is read. Pointer lines name each half, "Super Bright 800 Lumen LED Bulb" and "2K HD Camera with 160° FOV", and $49.98 is the biggest figure on the left. Gifters get an occasion from the post copy, which adds "The Coolest Gift He Didn't See Coming".

WyzeRan 129+ days
Testimonial ads

“We've got it from here, pal.”

Why it works

The picture is the install story. The camera is stuck to a window pane, and a family and a dog play, blurred and warm, in the room behind it, so watching the yard from indoors needs no caption. The headline speaks in the camera's voice, a reassurance more than a feature. A five-star pill reads "Amazing camera" beside $34.98. Next come the plain answers to a buyer's doubts, in the post copy: "no drilling, no ladders, no tools."

Wyze Meta ad: window camera on bare glass with a five-star pill under "Home Security? Simple.", ran 118+ days
WyzeRan 118+ days
Testimonial ads

“Home Security? Simple.”

Why it works

It carries the same headline, body copy and price as the family version, but the picture is stripped down to the camera on bare glass with a blurred yard behind it. A question headline gets a one-word answer set in italics, and the star pill now reads "Great camera, easy to mount." so the review names the install itself. Where the other picture sells the feeling, this one sells how little there is to do.

FlashbackRan 109+ days
Free gift with purchase ads

“Free gifts with every order until they're gone.”

Why it works

A starry night, a red starburst and a spread of tilted cameras in different colors give the sale a toy-shop feel, and a yellow ribbon repeats "Holiday Offer Ends Tonight" over the top. The incentive is a gift rather than a discount, with "Reserve FREE GIFTS now" on the button. At the center, a clear-shell camera sits in the starburst, so the color range of the product is on show as well.

Spec chips around the hardware · 6

Vantrue lines "4-CHANNEL" and "STARVIS 2" along the bottom edge as chips, and 70mai turns size into an object comparison by holding its dash cam beside a bank card.

VantrueRan 467+ days
Product launch ads

“Secure Your Drive with 4x Safeguard.”

Why it works

A dash cam sells on sensors and channels nobody can see in a photo, so this ad sets the hardware on a motion-blurred road and runs the proof along the bottom edge as black chips: "4-CHANNEL", "STARVIS 2", "LTE" and "Privacy Mode". An orange "NEW PRODUCT LAUNCH" flag sits beside the headline. Each chip is a claim a buyer can scan in a glance, and the ad kept running for 467 days.

Lorex TechnologyRan 128+ days
Winning ad examples

“See Every Aisle. Secure Every Asset.”

Why it works

Lorex moves from the home to the business. A pair of workers in hard hats and vests walk a warehouse aisle while a dome camera and a recorder sit at the edges of the frame. The parallel headline speaks to a stock manager's worry, and a bottom strip of "4K", "190°" and "AI ANALYTICS" gives a procurement reader the specs to compare. Below it, the post copy adds "real-time visibility across your warehouse".

70mai DashcamRan 74+ days
Product launch ads

“Sharper plates. Better night footage.”

Why it works

A pair of units rest on a real dashboard under a bright sky, so the buyer sees where a dash cam lives before reading anything. A short row of icons, "4K Clarity", "Night Vision" and "24/7 Smart Parking Guardian", carries the specs, and an "UPGRADED" tag marks the model as the newer one. Reading a plate and seeing in the dark are the two jobs the headline names for a driver.

“Small Size, Big Performance”

Why it works

Hands hold the dash cam beside a bank card, so size is settled by an object everyone knows instead of a measurement. Icons above read "Small in Size", "Powerful in 4K" and "4G Always Connected". Off the picture, in the post copy, sits "Save 25%", which keeps the image to size and specs.

eufyRan 31+ days
Instagram Stories ads

“Mount Fast. Tilt Down. See Clear.”

Why it works

The camera is shown on a window pane in the upper part of the frame, with a grid of feature icons over the glass: "25° Adjustable Tilt", "MaxColor Night Vision" and "2.5K Resolution" among them. The white block below holds a three-part command headline and a "Buy Now" button. Between them, the mounting shot and the icon grid settle the two doubts a window camera raises.

“Never Leave the Frame”

Why it works

A night driveway fills the frame, with blue figures walking toward a parked car and a phone on the right showing the same scene in the app. It reads as what the camera sees, a view the dash cam ads on this page never show. The headline promises the camera keeps tracking. A small line in the corner, "Features AI-generated persons.", tells the viewer the people shown are generated.

Polaroid's Mod ads and Lorex's X Series lineup show the hardware on black with a single line of type, which suits cameras where the lens and body are themselves the evidence of build.

“Where Security Meets Intelligence”

Why it works

A black stage, the X Series mark and a lineup of camera shapes beside a recorder, with one line of type under them. There is no spec chip and no person, so the range on show does the persuading. Offers live in the post copy instead, which tells installers about "up to 30% off, extended returns, and 3-year warranties", so the picture can stay as quiet as a catalog cover.

eufyRan 31+ days
Product launch ads

“The World's First Active Deterrence Camera with Auto-Tracking Light.”

Why it works

A white solar-panel camera throws a beam of light across a dark gradient, so the feature in the headline, a light that follows, is visible in the picture. A "NEW RELEASE" ribbon sits in the top corner and a red dot award mark in the lower left, with "Shop Now" on a cyan button. Directly beneath the superlative headline sits an award badge.

PolaroidRan 19+ days
Product launch ads

“Polaroid Mod. Made to make.”

Why it works

A black instant camera on a dark gradient has a fresh print sliding out, a portrait lit in orange against black. The print is the sample photo, so the output sits directly under the product, which is what a camera ad can rarely show. Only the logo, a "New" label and "The instant camera for real analog creativity" are added, so the picture carries the whole message.

“Polaroid Mod. Made to make.”

Why it works

The lens fills the frame in extreme close-up: a ridged silver ring, a mode dial reading "OFF" and "AUTO", and "AUTOFOCUS" engraved at the edge. The words match the full-body Polaroid ad, with a different crop. Metal and glass do the talking against the dark background, and the close-up makes the build quality visible in a way a spec line would not.

Family or pet next to the lens · 3

VantrueRan 375+ days
Longest-running Facebook ads

“A Visible Safety for the Ones You Love”

Why it works

The same dash cam as the longest run gets a different sell. Hardware cutouts sit on the left and a screen-like frame on the right shows a father at the wheel, a mother, children and a dog. The headline moves the claim from what the camera records to who it protects, and the 4-channel spec drops to a small line beneath. This softer version had run 375 days when we checked, beside the spec-chip one.

Product demo ads

“Keep your pet safe, healthy, and happy.”

Why it works

A golden retriever rests its chin on the camera while a stack of rounded pills lists alerts on a warm yellow ground, from "Barking Alert" to "Vomit Alert". The dog says pet without a caption, and each pill, with its small icon, turns a vague promise about safety and health into an event an owner can picture. Post copy is absent here, so the picture is the whole ad.

“Meet Furbo Nanny”

Why it works

A dog rests its head and tongue on the camera at the bottom left while phone screens float over a plain beige ground: a "Video History" timeline and a "Nanny Chat" message about a dog rolling on the couch. The headline introduces a new feature, and the screens show what the owner will receive. Light in tone, the post line "More Wags, Less Worries" finishes it.

“No screen. No retakes.”

Why it works

A white film camera sits on a rippling chrome surface beneath the Flashback logo, with nothing else on the picture. The argument lives in the post copy, as a short list: "27 shots per roll", "No screen. No retakes." and "Develops straight to your phone". Lighting gives the toy-like body a premium look, while the words promise the reverse of a phone: a camera you cannot check or redo.

Paper Shoot CameraRan 34+ days
Facebook ad copy examples

“No app. No editing. Just the moment.”

Why it works

A split frame puts the camera in a hand on the left and the photo it made on the right, labeled "The Camera" and "The Photo", with "Straight from camera" under the picture. The photo is a black-and-white street scene, so the film look is shown, not described. Underneath, the headline strip lists what a phone adds that this camera skips.

“An upgraded disposable camera”

Why it works

A hand holds a yellow, film-style camera up against a beach where surfers walk to the water, and a small box in the corner sets "Disposable cam: 27 shots" against "Paper Shoot: 30,000+ shots". The headline gives the category a new name before the numbers arrive, so the buyer knows the reference point. Along the foot, a small line says the photo is real, straight from the camera and unedited.

“YOUR CAMERA SHOULD FEEL LIKE YOU.”

Why it works

The headline words are laid out between camera bodies in red poppies, green daisies, black and yellow, so reading the line means looking at every case. The product shot is the proof of the claim. Where the other Paper Shoot ads sell the missing app, this one sells parts that swap in, and the post copy spells them out: "Swap the case. Screw on a new lens. Slide in a filter card for a new look, up to 20 tones."

Briefing a camera ad that proves more than the lens

  1. Name what a still can't showPick the one claim a photo of your camera cannot prove, such as night footage in eufy's E52 ad, and put it in the picture.
  2. Show the mounting spotWyze and eufy both stick the camera to a window pane, which answers install doubt before anyone reads a word.
  3. Print the price if it's lowWyze puts $34.98 on the picture beside a five-star pill, so the price sits right next to the proof.
  4. Turn specs into chipsVantrue's bottom row of short labels lets a buyer scan channels, sensors, connectivity and privacy mode without reading a paragraph.
  5. Set a sample photo beside itPaper Shoot splits its frame into "The Camera" and "The Photo", and Polaroid lets a print slide out under the lens.
  6. Run two pictures under one textWyze ran the same headline, body and price over a family scene and a bare window, and Polaroid ran the same words over a full body and a lens close-up.

Sizes and Safe Zones are on our Instagram Safe Zone checker page.

Showing where it mounts

Window. Wyze's body copy says "Stick it to your window. Plug it in. Done." and eufy's E10 picture shows the unit on a pane under "Mount Fast. Tilt Down. See Clear."

Dashboard. 70mai's A810S units sit on a real dashboard under a bright sky, so the buyer sees where a dash cam lives.

Light socket. Wyze's Bulb Cam screws into a socket, so the threaded base is the install story and "Smart bulb meets security camera." is the whole explanation.

Warehouse. Lorex puts a dome camera over a stockroom aisle with workers in hard hats, so a business buyer reads the use at once.

Claims that need backing

Savings. Vantrue's "Save $160" and "Up to 45% OFF" are savings claims, and the FTC's pricing guides say a reduced-price claim should compare against a price the seller really charged.

Ratings. Wyze shows five stars beside "Amazing camera" or "Great camera, easy to mount." The FTC's Endorsement Guides expect a rating or quote in an ad to reflect real customer experience.

Firsts and awards. eufy calls the TrackLight Cam S1 "The World's First Active Deterrence Camera with Auto-Tracking Light." and adds a red dot award badge, so the brand needs to be able to support the superlative.

Generated people. eufy prints "*Features AI-generated persons." in the corner of its night driveway scene, so the viewer knows the figures are not real footage.

Hidden cameras. Meta's Advertising Standards restrict ads for spy cams and other hidden surveillance equipment, so the security ads here show their cameras in plain view. Read the current wording on the standards page before you brief one.

Camera ad questions, from spec chips to dash mounts

How do you show picture quality in a camera ad?

Show something the camera made, or print a spec the buyer can compare. Paper Shoot splits its frame into "The Camera" and "The Photo", Polaroid lets a print slide out under the lens, and eufy's E52 ad pairs a night scene with the app on a phone.

Do camera ads need a price on the picture?

Not always, but the low-priced security cameras here lead with one. Wyze prints $34.98 or $49.98 beside the product, while the Polaroid, Lorex and Furbo ads show no price at all.

Should a security camera ad show people?

Show the camera in its real spot first, and add people only when the job is peace of mind. Wyze ran the same copy over a blurred family behind the glass (129 days) and over a bare pane with "Home Security? Simple." (118 days), while Lorex puts workers in a warehouse for a business buyer.

How do you write a camera launch ad?

Name the model, say what is new in one line and stop. Polaroid says "The instant camera for real analog creativity", eufy says "The World's First Active Deterrence Camera with Auto-Tracking Light.", and Vantrue's launch picture had run 467 days when we checked.

Can a camera ad sell what the camera leaves out?

Yes, and for film-look cameras it is the main pitch. Paper Shoot says "No app. No editing." and Flashback says "No screen. No retakes.", which aims straight at the phone as the rival.

Make camera ads like these

A camera ad earns its run by proving what a still can't, so bring your client's website or your own and we will build ads that lead with the spec, the price or the mount.

How we pick ads. We search Meta's public Ad Library for ads from DTC brands that sell to US and UK shoppers, keep ads running 14 days or more, skip catalogue ads, and show at most 3 per brand. Days running is a spend signal: brands rarely keep paying for an ad that doesn't sell. Day counts are as of the check date above. Breakdowns are written by Gimme Gimme's ad analysis engine from each ad's image and copy, and edited by Josh Jackson, founder. Not affiliated with the brands shown; ads appear for commentary and analysis. To have an ad removed, email hello@getgimmegimme.com and we'll take it down within 7 days.
